Eligible Recipients of Change Requests: All requests for address / bus stop changes will be received and validated by the school principal or designate to ensure both signed documentation and an origination verification component.
All persons making address / bus stop change requests will be directed to the school office of the affected student(s) to ensure the appropriate paperwork is completed. The school will enter the new information into the student database and share it with Student Transportation Services who in turn will make a decision on the request and respond.

Address / Bus Stop Change Criteria:
The school Principal(s), in consultation with Student Transportation Services and the bus operator(s) may authorize a change request for a bus stop. Bus stop change requests are subject to the following conditions:
The new address is a permanent stop location.
The new address will be in effect for a minimum of 60 days.
The new address location fulfils the eligibility for transportation service criteria as outlined on www.schoolbusinfo.com.
Address / Stop change requests within eligible transportation boundaries:
In situations where an address or bus stop change is requested within the eligible transportation boundaries, the following process will be followed:
Custodial Guardian must present change request in writing to school Principal or designate at least 5 business days prior to the change taking effect.
School Principal or designate will verify origination of request is the custodial guardian, complete the address / stop change request form and forward to Student Transportation Services with a minimum of 3 business days notice prior to the change. The form can be completed either online at www.schoolbusinfo.com or manually completed and faxed to transportation: (519) 627-8143.
School Principal or designate will update the student profile information within the student database system.
Student Transportation Services designate will receive the electronic / faxed request, verify eligibility and prepare a transportation solution in conjunction with bus operator(s).
Student Transportation Services designate will work with bus operator(s) to accommodate request and update route / stop information within EDULOG.
Student Transportation Services designate will contact Custodial Guardian to relay the new stop location / time confirmation.
Student Transportation Services designate will prepare written confirmation of the new stop location information and send to student(s) school Principal (or designate) / bus operator.
Student Transportation Services will collect historical data and share with both school boards as part of regular departmental reporting.
